Consider the "whispering gallery" effect when speaking within a sphere.
Masers: could a 900MHz maser (including any antenna stuff) fit in a suitcase
and penetrate at least one wall? are there strong wall reflections that could
be detected? Still line of sight (eg, hills would kill signal)
