graduate in the spring of 2009 with a degree in Physics and a
humanities concentration in film and video.
* Fall 2004
+ **8.012** - Physics I: Mechanics
+ **18.022** - Mulivariable Calc
+ **12.000** - Mission 2008: Galapagos
+ **3.091** - Intro to Solid State Chem
+ **21H.601** - Islam, Middle East, and the West
* IAP 2005
+ EMT Training
* Spring 2005
+ **1.016** - Terrascope: Galapagos
+ **7.013** - Biology
+ **8.022** - Physics II: Electricity and Magnetism
+ **24.02** - What is the Best Way to Live?
* Fall 2005
+ **18.03** - Differential Equations
+ **8.03** - Waves and Vibrations
+ **8.033** - Relativity
+ **17.31** - Science, Technology, and Public Policy
* IAP 2006
+ **6.186** - Maslab (robotics competition)
* Spring 2006

+ **8.351** - Computational Mechanics
* Spring 2008 (planned)
+ 8.04 - Quantum Mechanics I (last time!)
+ 8.14 - Experimental Physics II
+ 21F.052 - French Film Classics (spring, in english)
+ 18.100{a,b} - Analysis
* Fall 2008 (planned)
+ 8.05 - Quantum Mechanics II
+ 9.01 - Introduction to Neuroscience
+ 6.004 - Computation Structures
+ 21L.005 - Introduction to Drama (fall, hass-d)
+ MAS.863 - How to Make (Almost) Anything (grad, fall)
* Spring 2009 (planned)
+ 8.06 - Quantum Mechanics III
+ 8.08 - Statistical Physics II
+ 8.962 (cosmo) or 8.942 (GR)
+ STS.488 - Technoscientific Imaginaries (grad, spring)
+ 8.ThU - Thesis
I would prefer to take a statistical physics course earlier, because it is a gap in my knowledge that I think hold me back. I could try to take it Spring 2008, or could try 8.333 (grad level statistical physics, requires 8.05) in fall 2008.
I'd also like to have more math under my belt, but haven't had great experiences with MIT course 18 classes...
Other interesting courses:
+ 24.215 - Topics in the Philosophy of Science (fall)
+ 21L.011 - The Film Experience (hass-d)
+ 24.900 - Introduction to Linguistics (hass-d)
+ 6.046J - Design and Analysis of Algorithms (requirements)
+ 18.335J - Introduction to Numerical Methods (grad, summer)
+ 8.261J - Introduction to Computational Neuroscience (fall)
+ 8.292J - Fluid Physics (spring)
+ 8.371J - Quantum Information Science (grad, spring)
+ 8.594J - Introduction to Neural Networks (grad, fall)
