**[Lucas' Notes for Lecture 3](/Lecture_3.pdf)**
One issue that came up during class was that our solution to the heat equation only works for periodic boundary conditions. Of course, one would like to be able to solve the equation with arbitrary boundary conditions. Hopefully such a solution will be found here in the future. If there were any other unanswered questions please post them here as well.
