* netkittelnet: mark as deprecatedThomas Petazzoni2012-11-041-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | It is no longer being developed, the FTP is dead, and Debian has removed it from the distribution. Also it allows to not worry about adding RPC support through libtirpc to this package. * Rename BR2_INET_RPC to BR2_TOOLCHAIN_HAS_NATIVE_RPCThomas Petazzoni2012-11-041-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | The BR2_INET_RPC has for a long time been a not very descriptive configuration option name, and with the advent of non-RPC glibc toolchains and the apparition of libtirpc, we really need to rename it to something more sensible, BR2_TOOLCHAIN_HAS_NATIVE_RPC. * netkittelnet: fix build on toolchains without C++ supportPeter Korsgaard2012-10-092-7/+20
| | | | | | | | | | | | The configure script checks for C++ support as telnet (but not telnetd) contains C++ code. This used to work by accident if the host had g++, as we didn't pass TARGET_CONFIGURE_OPTS to configure (which sets CXX to /bin/false). Fix it by removing the g++ check and rewriting the configure checks to use the C compiler instead. Signed-off-by: Peter Korsgaard <jacmet@sunsite.dk>

* DOWNLOAD: change $1=DIRECTORY_URL, $2=FILE_NAME to $1=FULL_FILE_URL, ↵Alvaro G. M2012-03-181-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | $2=FILE_NAME This modifies the definition of DOWNLOAD to receive two arguments: the first one is the full URL of the file to download, whereas the second (and optional) is the name the file will have once downloaded. Same thing with the SOURCE_CHECK_WGET and SCP functions. All calls to these functions have been changed to the shortest form of the new API, except for toolchains acquisition. Since there is quite a number of different toolchains this call to DOWNLOAD is better set to the generic one. Signed-off-by: Alvaro G. * support: move patch-kernel.sh and rename itThomas Petazzoni2011-09-171-1/+1
| | | | | | | | The name "patch-kernel.sh" is a bit stupid, since this script is used to patch everything in Buildroot, not only kernel trees. Signed-off-by: Thomas Petazzoni <thomas.petazzoni@free-electrons.com> Signed-off-by: Peter Korsgaard <jacmet@sunsite.dk>
* Update all packages to quote $(TARGET_CC)Thomas Petazzoni2010-07-071-5/+5

* netkittelnet: fix typo introduced in 8d65822f9dPeter Korsgaard2009-11-231-1/+1
| | | | | | Netkittelnet needs a toolchain WITH RPC support, not WITHOUT. Signed-off-by: Peter Korsgaard <jacmet@sunsite.dk>

* netkittelnet: depends on netkitbase (and in term RPC support)Peter Korsgaard2009-09-191-0/+4
| | | | | | | | | Closes #617 netkittelnet needs netkitbase, which in term needs RPC support in toolchain, so adjust Kconfig dependencies to ensure this. Signed-off-by: Peter Korsgaard <jacmet@sunsite.dk>
* package: Remove unnecessary dependencies on uclibc.Will Newton2009-09-031-1/+1
| | | | | | | | A C library will have been built by the toolchain makefiles, so there is no need for packages to explicitly depend on uclibc. Signed-off-by: Will Newton <will.newton@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Peter Korsgaard <jacmet@sunsite.dk>
