``break`` is used to exit from a :ref:`while <arduino-while>`\ ,
:ref:`for <arduino-for>`\ , or :ref:`do/while <arduino-dowhile>` loop,
bypassing the normal loop condition. It is also used to exit from a
:ref:`switch <arduino-switchcase>` statement.
