Bulk transit in NYC gets as low as $1/Mbps, but most small/medium
companies end up paying more. The biggest longer distance service
providers peer with each other for free. From

which unfortunately seems to be affiliated with BlueCoat, a US security
company which knowingly sells hardware to repressive regimes.
