A couple months ago I spent a few fun hours playing with Smalltalk and
the Squeak development environment. I really like exploring tools like
this which epitomize a paradigm or worldview, in this case the
object-oriented programming environment. I should take a stab at getting
a LISP machine running as well... I wonder how many other Willy Wonka
programming worlds there are to explore? I guess I spend so much time in
the UNIX world I don't even notice anymore, I just get frustrated when
any other tool doesn't spit out text files or have enough command line
arguments or refuses to compile out of the box.
