It’s been a meaningful year for me to make a document about islanders in Korea, people who have been struggled for their life due to the disease, stigma, separation hence their entire stolen lives. 

My mind wandered between memory, imagination, past and future. 
In my mind, they were lovers, friends, seekers, mothers and daughters in their own utopian land. 

This dissertation is dedicated to those island people.
