UK-Wide Student Exhibition and Curator Talks:  William Blake and Conflict Beyond Borders and Forms In conversation with the Fitzwilliam Museum exhibition « William Blake’s Universe », the Museum Late event explores the theme of conflict beyond borders, looking at the tension between imperialism and continental artistic exchange, feminine and masculine romanticism, as well as the destructive and regenerative power of art in a time of war.
Get involved in our hands-on exhibition and talks curated by the MA and PhD students from the Royal College of Art as well as Cambridge’s very own architecture students to dig deep into our Blake-inspired sub-themes. The exhibition will be represented in different forms of arts, including performances, moving images, installations, linocuts, sculptures, paintings and photographs.  Exhibition Dates: 30 April 2024 18:30 - 21:00 Venue: Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge CB2 1RB Curator Talks: 19:55 - 20:35, Ground Floor [Featured RCA Artists] Casper Dillen @caspucci Lianjiang Zhu @lianjiang.zhu Xiangyin Tom Gu @kuschonink Yujin Son @art_yujin Wanrong Zhu @elf.zwr Jiyeon Ryu @wonder_ryu Shenji He Maria Helena Toscano @have_some_dignity Michael Gurhy @michaelgurhy Polo Farrera @polofarrerart [Curator from RCA] Dahee Min @heeda.a Sunjoo Jung s.artijung Soyeon Jung Victoria Stepanets @stepanetsvika Jane Lee @janejaneyleeee Luis Lopez @luislopezartec Pon Chanarat @ponchan871 @fitzmuseum_soc #fitzwilliammuseum #cambridgeuniversity #williamblake #letscreate #royalcollegeofart
